RAZOR CLAMS
It is a big mollusk. Its valves can measure 20 cm.
Most people cannot distinguish the razor clam from the pod razor, but it is very easy: the razor clam has a curved shell and the pod razor has a straight shell.
The shell of the razor clam is curved, smooth and yellowish with spots. They are buried in the sea bed, under the sand.
In Galicia there are more pod razors than razor clams and the majority of these two mollusks are from the Galician rķas.
